This is the first in a series based on the loss of my family's farm, which the DOT is buying (well basically condeming all the buildings, forcing my parents to pay rent until dad finds another job, and giving them a minimal payment for what my parents have dedicated their lives to) to build a four lane highway. I am beginning with very literal drawings based on the things I will remember most about living on a farm and my family's long farming history. Since drawing enhances memory, much like writing notes in "lesser classes" enhances memory. Then the rest will be a surprise!
